Izzy is my best friend, so I’ve watched his music evolve over time. I was around for the multiple forms and iterations of this album. The album is heavily associated with cars and the idea of moving on. All of the footage and photographs were captured during a trip to the Rockies. We were aiming to capture the feeling of falling asleep with your head resting against a car window, so we created a dreamy, half-conscious atmosphere for the album's visuals.
The album is rooted in themes of retrospection and moving on, with frequent references to cars throughout. The two images are the single cover artworks for Laundromat and Gimme, respectively (listed in the order in which they appear). The Gimme cover was created in collaboration with David Lerner.
